THE STORY BEHIND THE LENS

Elijah Thompson is the founder of Cap7ure and started his photography journey when he was 16 years old. He started Elijah Thompson Photography and spent several years capturing sports, corporate, political, and music events. Elijah joined Mykal ‘Wassifa’ Brown Foundation as a participant in their HLF-funded Youth Programme. He became an Official Wassifa Photographer for The Wassifa Caribbean TV Show and concerts at 02 Arenas which were often headlined by international artists. Elijah’s work was later included at the Wassifa Exhibition which was displayed at Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery.
Fascinated by creative film production, he went on to gain a BA (Hons) in Creative Film Production, before joining the Brit Asia TV team. Elijah went on to relaunch his photography business to incorporate film – Cap7ure. His current portfolio includes Neyo, Apache Indian, Maxie Priest, Julian Marley, Tyson Fury, Frank Bruno, Justin Gatlin, and Portugal’s President Marcelo Rebelo De Sousa.
In addition to large events, the portfolio includes more intimate moments and personal events such as birthdays, modelling, and profile shots.
